Description: Paduak is one of the hardest and most stable exotic woods. The sapwood ranges from a cream to pale beige color while the heartwood is a rich red orange color. Over time, the heartwood will change to a dark red or purple brown color. It has a coarse texture with large pores. The grains can be straight or interlocked. Paduak is a very durable wood. It is resistant to decay and weathering.
